Researchers say drowsiness is a factor in about 20 percent of all auto accidents. The New Jersey highway crash that killed one person and injured comedian Tracy Morgan has revived debate over trucker fatigue. Court papers allege the truck driver had not slept for more than 24 hours before he crashed into the Morgan vehicle. Just last week a bill was introduced in the Senate to loosen federal rules mandating more time for truckers to rest.
